The Mazda 3 ABS control unit fails commonly. It normally results in the ABS, TCS and BRAKE lights coming on on the instrument cluster, total loss of ABS/DSC function, and the fault codes listed below. Regardless of exactly which one of the below fault codes a unit may have, we completely rebuild the control unit so that it will not fail on a different circuit at a later date. The procedure includes a rebuild of the ABS pump motor, which also commonly fails. After this, we perform a full functions test on our testing bench to confirm that the control unit is now functioning as intended.
